The Applications Engineer representative must be able to articulate engineering design technology to both business and technical users and act as the primary liaison between engineers and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Searching for new clients who will benefit from products or services and maximizing customer potential.
  • Developing and growing long-term relationships with customers.

Responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all non-additive equipment and facilities.Verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and maintains all non-additive equipment per regularly scheduled preventative maintenance as well as not scheduled maintenance work to ensure equipment stays in a functional and efficient working manner.
  • Acts as the primary contact for any building issues.
  • Monitors contractor performance and works closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
  • Constructs and procures necessary materials/parts to facilitate facility improvements/changes.
  • Available for building emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
  • Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as needed.
  • Makes minor plumbing repairs, as necessary.
  • Performs basic electrical work and determines when an electrician is required.
  • Hangs pictures and shelving, as needed.
  • Dismantles and installs furniture.
  • Performs immediate cleaning duties necessary to maintain clean facility.
  • Runs and keeps Ethernet cables in an orderly and operating condition.
  • Compares packing slip information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, using labeling & stenciling equipment.
  • Assembles shipping containers or selects preassembled containers.
  • Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding following shipping procedures.
  • Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
  • Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Manages and process all Kanban item requests, ensures all lists are kept up to date and stores all received items in proper locations, including delivering items to proper departments.
  • Follows shipping procedures documents and posted workflow stages.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors and vendors.
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail.
